Throughout our history, our team has based the projects undertaken on the philosophy of partnership resulting in Digby Wells Environmental (Digby Wells) becoming the preferred partner in offering sustainable solutions across the resources, infrastructure, energy and agricultural sectors.
In celebrating this milestone, Digby Wells Environmental hosted our 10th Annual Sustainability Breakfast at The Table Bay Hotel, Cape Town.
Founder and CEO, Graham Trusler, opened the morning with a presentation looking back at the history of our company, Digby Wells. Having completed projects throughout five of the seven continents, our partnership in providing innovative and practical environmental and social solutions to Barrick, Exxaro Resources, DRDGold, East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) and Kazangula were demonstrated, to name a few.
Mr Grant Beringer, Barrick Group’s Sustainability Executive presented on Barrick’s Sustainability Principles and Mr Mongezi Veti, Executive Head of Sustainability of Exxaro, presented on Environmental and Climate Change Stewardship within Exxaro. Closing the morning sessions, Digby Wells Legal Services Director, Lucy Stevens, presented on Digby Wells’ involvement in the Resettlement Action Plan of the largest pipeline project in Africa, EACOP.
All presentations were well received, and we thank all industry partners who participated in the event.
