Commemorating World Wetlands Day, Digby Wells Environmental Aquatic, Wetland and Ecology specialists Julia Ndou, Byron Bester and Tebogo Khoza, aided in the facilitation of the miniSASS activity, in support of the annual World Wetlands Day event at the Colbyn Wetland Nature Reserve, South Africa.

Hosted by the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa, affiliated with Friends of Colbyn Valley and the Agricultural Research Council, assisted by WetRest Centre for Wetland Research and Training, the South African Wetland Society and BirdLife Northern Gauteng, the event sought to create awareness and educate our youth on the importance of wetlands and rivers, and the role they play a in protecting them.
